GROHE Sensia Arena incorporates different innovative technologies that all work together to give you the most hygienic experience with minimum effort.
HyperClean and AquaCeramic
The hygiene features of the GROHE Sensia Arena provide you with ultimate cleanliness. GROHE HyperClean is a smooth and hardwearing glaze, that uses silver ions to prevent 99.9 % of bacteria growth, keeping your ceramic sparkling clean and germ-free. For GROHE Sensia Arena, we combine it with GROHE AquaCeramic, which creates a smooth hydrophilic layer on the ceramic surface that dirt and limescale can’t stick to. This combination prevents the growth of 99.9 % of germs you can be confident that your ceramic will stay clean.
Anti-bacterial spray arm with automatic cleaning
The spray arm of the GROHE Sensia Arena is made from 99.9 % anti-bacterial material and the nozzles are protected by an anti-bacterial nozzle cover. So the spray head and arm remain germ-free.
Before and after each use of the shower toilet, the spray arms and nozzles are rinsed automatically. The spray head itself is also easy to dismantle and clean under running water. Since it is exchangable, you replace the spray head completely if needed.
The power of three: GROHE Triple Vortex
Instead of one or two water outlets, the Triple Vortex system flushes from three outlets – one at the back, one at the side and one at the base of the bowl – creating an incredibly powerful flush that covers and cleans the bowl for ultimate hygiene. Despite its power, this effective flush has low water consumption, with a dual flush option that uses just 5l of water and only 3l for a short flush.
Plasmacluster
PlasmaCluster technology is a feature for air sterilization inside the bowl. It generates positive and negative ions and releases them into the air just like a room air-purifier: Ions are distributed in the air and attach themselves to bacteria and germs to destroy them. The ions are dispersed back into the air in the form of water vapor, so that bacteria, germs and unpleasant odours are eliminated. GROHE PlasmaCluster operates in between uses and automatically stops when you approach your Sensia Arena. And PlasmaCluster not only handles the odour inside the bowl: You can even purify the air around the toilet once every 24 hours by selecting the "room" function.
