Descaling the GROHE Sensia Arena

Preventing limescale desposits in the shower toilet

When water is heated up, it causes limescale. This can also happen in the GROHE Sensia Arena shower toilet. To prevent this, a notification on the remote control indicates when action should be taken and you can carry out a descaling procedure with a descaling kit from GROHE.

The descaling set contains:
• 80 g bag of descaler
• Bottle with holder
• Tube with valve (incl. adapter)
• Sticker
• Standard shower nozzle
• Lady shower nozzle

Preparing for descaling

To prepare the process, fill the bottle with 500 ml of water and pour the descaling agent into the bottle. Screw the cap tightly onto the bottle and shake the bottle for a good distribution of the agent. Now, the automatic opening of the lid has to be deactivated. To do this, go to setting number two on the remote control, press the second button and a signal indicates that this function is deactivated.

To connect the components for the descaling process, remove the cap on the lid. Place the template with the picture on the left edge of the toilet and position the hose with the clip as shown on the template in the opening of the shower toilet. Press to attach it. Now, you can open the lid, secure the holder for the bottle and fit the bottle in the holder. To activate the descaling process, go to setting number four on the remote control and press the third button. Open the clamp on the hose so that the fluid can flow into the technical unit. The descaling process is done after around twenty minutes.

Let us convince you that any concerns you may have about GROHE Sensia Arena are unfounded.
