The new SmartControl function makes life easier. Instead of operating a lever, you can turn the water flow on and off with the push of a button - which means you can even use your elbow or wrist. Ideal if your hands are dirty from meal preparation or you've just entered the house and want to wash your hands after shopping. The water temperature is controlled by a valve on the body of the tap. This way, it is really easy to preset a temperature and just turn it on and off via the SmartControl button and regulate the water flow.
