With the push of a button
The new SmartControl function makes life easier. Instead of operating a lever, you can turn the water flow on and off with the push of a button - which means you can even use your elbow or wrist. Ideal if your hands are dirty from meal preparation or you've just entered the house and want to wash your hands after shopping. The water temperature is controlled by a valve on the body of the tap. This way, it is really easy to preset a temperature and just turn it on and off via the SmartControl button.
Precise control at your fingertips
The pull-out of the GROHE SmartControl System provides you with maximum flexibility. The integrated magnetic docking system guarantees ease of use and smooth operation. The special laminar spray makes it easy to prep vegetables or clean the sink - it is designed to be completely splash-free.
Tool-free installation
With GROHE FastFixation Plus, we reduced the number of loose components for a quicker installation process. All you have to do is push and turn the tap fixation under the sink and the installation is done. There is no need for tools, saving you time on the job!
Clean and healthy tap water
“Pure Freude an Wasser” also means that you can enjoy the purest water with our products. Due to the zinc die casting production process and isolated inner water ways of the pull-out hose there is no contact of water with lead and nickel within the tap. These inner waterways have no contact to the body material which result in a barrier between hot water and the external surface to avoid scalding on hot surfaces. This guarantees healthy and clean drinking water from an extra safe tap you and your family can rely on.

The GROHE Essence SmartControl tap with its sleek, delicate design is an iconic and colorfull focus point for every kitchen. The tap comes in various finishes from classical chrome to warm sunset. Due to its height, it leaves lots of comfortable working space for filling large pots or vases under the high L-shaped spout. The spout swivels through 140° which is ideal for larger or double sinks.
