Automatic flush

Automatic flush

If your tap is not used for a long time, the water will remain in the pipes and a biofilm can form in this stagnant water through deposits, causing bacteria and germs. To avoid stagnation, automatic flushing can be set for infrared taps. After a certain time, water will automatically flow to flush the pipes through.

Adjusting the automatic flushing

  1. First connect the remote control with the tap.
  2. Under the menu item "Configuration" and „Automatic Flushing“ the automatic flush can be activated via "Activate" and "OK”.
  3. Set the "runtime" with the arrow keys between 30 sec and 600 sec.
  4. Set the "Interval" slider with the arrow keys between 4h and 80h. The interval determines the time interval of the flushes.
  5. These settings are then transferred to the tap by scrolling down and pressing “Send”.
  6. The check mark in the upper right corner of the remote control display indicates that the transfer was successful.

Usage-dependent and usage-independent automatic flushing

There is an option between "usage-dependent" and "usage-independent" for automatic flushing.

Usage-dependent

Usage-dependent automatic flushing, flushes the tap after the set time period after the last use. If the interval is set to 24h, the tap flushes exactly 24 hours after the last use. If water is used every day, the automatic flushing does not trigger, which of course saves water.

Usage-independent

In the case of "usage-independent" the tap always flushes after the set time has elapsed. At an interval of 24 h for example in a doctor's office: the tap should always flush at 6 o'clock, so that no stagnant water is tapped for the patients.
