Selecting a predefined programme
Depending on the purpose and the size of the building, there are different requirements concerning hygiene and cleaning. That is why GROHE has defined 7 programmes that are stored in each tap.
The predefined programmes
There are 7 predefined programmes stored in the tap. These programs are used to set the cleaning mode, automatic flushing and thermal disinfection. The 7 predefined programs can be operated by hand gestures.
First enter the settings mode
- To enter the settings mode, the tap must be disconnected from the power supply for at least 10 seconds and then be reconnected again.
- Now the sensor on the tap flashes 4 times.
- Hold your thumb on the lower part of the sensor and cover around 80% of the sensor.
- The tap starts flashing again at short intervals. Wait until the blinking stops.
- Remove your thumb. Now the water flow stops.
- The settings mode is now active and ends automatically after 3 minutes if no changes are made.
Selecting a predefined programme
- Hold your thumb in front of the sensors - preferably coming from below - to set the desired programme.
- The tap displays the programmes by flashing. So for example 3x flashing for programme 3 and 4x flashing for programme 4.
- Leave your thumb on the sensor until the desired programme is reached, then the thumb can be removed.
- The tap repeats the number of flashes for the selected programme.
- Flashing confirms that the change is saved.
The programme can be adjusted again within 6 seconds. Otherwise, the settings mode will automatically end after 3 minutes. The tap can also be used for hand washing during the adjustment.
Enhance your settings
Independend of the selected programme you can customize all your settings with the remote control. For example select and customise the automatic flushing interval from 72 hours to 24 hours. This new setting is now a custom setting for this tap. If you change the preset programme, your settings will be overwritten with the new programme. You can however save your settings in the remote control as a new user profile.
