Required time: 15 Min.
Preparing the inspection shaft
Prepare the inspection shaft by removing the cover and snapping off the protective side caps on the lines provided.
TIP: Keep the cover for a later step in which it serves as a template.
Connecting the hose
To install the hose for the shower function, remove the red circplip and nut in a first step. Now you can guide the hose from the bottom upwards into the opening in the Rapid SLX element provided for it before refitting the nut and the circlip on the end coming out of the shaft. Close the valve in the element by turning the screw to the right, dismantle the hose from the valve and connect the enclosed T-piece to the hose.
TIP: It is sufficient to hand-tighten the knurled nut.
To connect the T-piece to the valve, insert the red sealing ring into the T-piece, connect it and tighten the nut with pliers. \nNow you can remove the protection at the end of the hose, mount it on the T-piece and tighten it hand-tight. To flush the hose, open the valve in the element by turning the screw to the left before opening the ball valve on the hose. After rinsing, do not forget to close both valves.
